The strategy to design a new product is changing. In the past everything was done inside the manufacturing firm: innovation, drawings, prototyping, complete manufacturing, sourcing.
Today, the design department is focused on innovation because it is specialized on the product manufactured. The generic work, i.e. drawings or subassemblies, is accomplished by subcontractors. This way inside the company stays only a very specialized team.
This strategy creates the need for engineers and technicians working temporaly for a client. We want to offer our experience in the design of machines and mechanical equipement.
The design department of BassoRicci Engineering is composed by mechanical engineers with various experiences:
- hydraulic systems for lifting and moving machines;
- highly automative manufacturing lines;
- design and build prototypes;
- design for mass production up to 5000 units per year.
Some exemples of tools used during the design:
- 2D CAD ;
- 3D CAD ;
- analytical or semicanalytical calculation of mechanical parts and hydraulic installations;
- stress-strain analyses through finite elemente technique;
- value analysis or functional analysis to optimize costs and performances.
